Farm in Maremma
Even the products of “Poggio alla Rocca” are left to nature and the fruits of this land, dedicated to the olive trees and vineyard. The three types of extra virgin olive oil are obtained by cold pressing of three cultivars (Correggiolo, Leccino and Dolciano) with excellent organoleptic characteristics.
The vineyard at Poggio alla Rocca is exposed to the south-west, before Montalcino, on calcareous mineral – rich marl soil. The system dates back to 1975 and the ancient chianti recipe provides the following grape varieties: Sangiovese and Ciligiolo (Red 13,5%), Malvasia and Trebbiano (White 12,5%)
